Postpartum's natural state is supported
Mothered NAture
Postpartum work is an integral part of who I and therefore something I would like to provide throughout the areas I intend to serve. I prefer being employed by a Loved One who purchases these services as a gift. Support in this highly transitional period is so often overlooked in our culture, but is a commonplace in many others. Postpartum Depression has a higher likelihood to take hold when the Woman lacks support necessary to tend to her and baby's own well-being. This goes beyond optimum healing and breastmilk production being negatively impacted. When a Woman lacks access to an adequate support system the entire family is impacted. This is unfortunately entirely to common in the USA which is something I hope to change in my life.
